Teller / New Accounts
Department: Buffalo, WY
Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Teller/New Accounts to join our financial institution. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while handling a variety of banking transactions and services. Your ability to manage cash accurately and build strong relationships with clients will be key to your success in this position.
Duties:
- Process customer transactions efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Maintain accurate cash management by balancing your cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist customers with account-related questions and promote bank products and services that meet their needs.
- Perform basic math calculations to ensure accuracy in all transactions.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to enhance their banking experience.
- Adhere to all bank policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Participate in training programs to stay updated on financial services and product offerings.
- Open a variety of new accounts for customers.
Required Skills / Abilities and Job Requirements:
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Excellent relationship management abilities to foster positive interactions with customers.
- Solid math skills for accurate transaction processing and cash handling.
- Familiarity with New Accounts is a plus but not required.
- operations and financial services is beneficial.
- Basic math skills are essential for daily tasks involving numerical calculations.

Operations Assistant
Department: Buffalo, WY
Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Assistant to support our team in various administrative and operational tasks. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth function of daily operations. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Duties:
- Compliance – Responsible for completion, within specific time frames, of all ICBA training modules identified for this position.
- Assure that all job duties are performed within policy, procedures and regulations.
- Balances daily GL reports.
- Input wires and approve them.
- Upload transit cash letters to BBW.
- Upload the on-us items to FPS.
- Check image linking.
- Mobile Deposit Review.
- Sending e-ach batches for commercial customers.
- Review opened deposit accounts for missing information.
- Operate phone systems effectively, handling incoming calls and directing them as necessary.
- Perform clerical duties such as filing documents, data entry, and maintaining organized records.
- Other duties as requested by VP of Operations.
Required Skills / Abilities and Job Requirements:
- One to two years of job-related experience pertaining to operations, teller, and new accounts functions and duties
- Ability to learn and follow all federal regulations and the policies and procedures established by Buffalo Federal Bank’s corporate office.
- Good interpersonal communication.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Thorough understanding of customer service
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
